Amy Critchley
Board Chair
Amy is a founding board member and inaugural Board Chair of Roundabout Canberra. Amy is a criminal justice professional, with over 20 years experience mostly focussed in victim-based crime, strategy, policy and governance in her day job and Mum to four lively kids and a Labrador in her non-paid job! Amy also likes to keep herself busy through being a member of the local motor neurone disease community and MND NSW Board Member, including Vice-President roles, since 2013. Amy is really proud of the achievements and amazing journey Roundabout Canberra has been on and looks forward to continuing to assist local families through this amazing grassroots charity.
Emma Reilly
Deputy Chair
Emma is a partner at Moray & Agnew, Lawyers. Her legal practice involves insurance and commercial litigation, property law and employment law. Emma lives in Kaleen with her husband Andrew and their two young children. She is also a Board member of MusicACT. Emma joined the Board of Roundabout after committing to use second hand items where possible for her own young children, for the sake of the environment. She loves being involved with an organisation that benefits local families in need in such an extraordinary way. She also loves the sense of community created through the valued contributions of the hardworking volunteers whose team work makes Roundabout Canberra possible.
Stephanie Crosby
Treasurer & Non Executive Director
Stephanie is Chartered Accountant who works in the ACT Community Sector. Stephanie spent many years working for KPMG (Wollongong) and Qantas (Sydney) in taxation, accounting, project management and process improvement roles. Since moving to Canberra in 2017, Stephanie has switched her career focus to the community and not-for-profit sectors. After meeting a number of the Roundabout board members through her work for the ACT Council of Social Service, Stephanie was prompted to join these dedicated and passionate volunteers. She looks forward to being able to use her finance, strategy and governance background to support this valuable organisation in the future.
Lauren Phillips
Company Secretary & Non-Executive Director
Lauren is a marketing and communications professional with a passion for the NFP space. She has worked in communications and marketing across a variety of sectors including retail, manufacturing, hospitality and non-profit and is often behind the scenes at Roundabout lending a hand with the website, marketing and social media. As a mum of two, Lauren is passionate about ensuring every child has access to the essentials they need to thrive. Lauren in the co-founder of not-for-profit Fortem Australia and the co-creator of Thank a First Responder Day. She holds a Masters of Marketing.
Jean Giese
Non-Executive Director
Jean Giese has worked in senior roles in the community industry for over a decade and has a wealth of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating projects and collaborations that foster inclusion. She passionately advocates that inclusion is fostered through reducing barriers to participation in volunteering and access to community information. Outside her role as CEO, Jean is an avid volunteer, as a Board Director, MC, and trivia host extraordinaire. Jean is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has a Bachelor of International Relations and a range of industry specific qualifications.
Scott Polsen
Non Executive Director
Scott is the managing director of Benmax, a family owned and operated commercial HVAC mechanical services company operating across five office locations in Australia and New Zealand. Passionate about helping the community and supporting programs and activities that contribute to greater community engagement, inclusion and wellbeing. He was inspired by the work of the Roundabout Canberra team, eagerly accepting a position on the board in late 2022. A father of two, Scott is pleased to be able to contribute his executive experience, strategic thinking and financial management skills to support local families.
Caitrin Dunn
Non-Executive Director
Caitrin is an experienced executive and company director with over 20 years of achievement across the public and private sectors. Caitrin has experience standing up her own organisation, Sayers Group a start-up providing boutique consulting services Government and the private sector. She has personal experience juggling growth in client demand, while balancing financial security and development of culture. She will use this experience to help Roundabout grow and continue to support the Canberra community. Caitrin has two children and a husband who is dedicated to the public service. She loves Canberra and couldn't think of a better place to live.
